Mended Quiver
Mended Quiver serves adoptive, foster, and kinship care families in our community by championing Kent County social workers and child welfare professionals, ministering to local families touched by foster or kinship care, and supporting adoptive, foster, and kinship families in our congregation. If you are interested in volunteering or have questions about the ministry contact Kristin at mendedquiver@cedarspringsbaptist.org
Green Acres Ministry
We have partnered with Green Acres to provide their shut-in residents a chance to worship together. The worship service includes a few songs, a short lesson and a connection time at the end. During the connection time we get to know the residents and pray together. We have two teams that share the visits and are led by Matthew Shoffner and Kevin Pike. These visits occur on the third Sunday of every month. If you are interested in being on one of these teams contact Matthew Shoffner - matt@cedarspringsbaptist.org
Cedar Reach Kids
Cedar Reach kids partners with City Impact to bring the gospel to children in a trailer park just north of the church. During our time we play games, learn Bible stories, have a meal, and have an interactive craft time at the end. We run the program during the summer months and enjoy connecting with the kids in our community along with praying for them year round. If you'd like to join our team please let Matthew Shoffner know - matt@cedarspringsbaptist.org
Hand 2 Hand
Hand 2 Hand is an organization that partners with local churches to provide weekend meals to our local students through Cedar Springs Public School and Creative Technology Academy.
At this time they are serving 200 students and as a church we are helping meet this need by collecting canned fruits, vegetable and soups.
